Based on my research, there are some strategies for companies to consider for improving rankings, which are including

  • To know the importances of metadata when designing the websites, companies should have space between the ‘head’ tag on each webpage so that to insert metadata. It is the most significant information of the website design.
  • Companies should also have a link-worthy site, which to create relevant links within the text instead of with click here. ‘Click here’ has no value to the search engine, which will not contribute to the improvement of searching rankings.
  • Use alt tags for video or visual media could also strengthen the search of ‘ ‘keywords’ because the simple descriptions of the media could improve the chances of search from companies target markets.

    1. Hope my post was’t confused you because I haven’t edited it and sent it out accidentally. So now I just edited it again. I think the paid search tools like PPC are one of the strategies for companies to utilise for improving rankings. The most essential way to improve the company on search rankings is to have a better construction of its webpage. Otherwise, people would not be attracted to purchase products or visit the company website even a certain company webpage is ranked at the top on the search engine.

  1. SEO is a great way for organisations to gain exposure online, through search. However, some organisations haven’t quite got the hang of it and they can gain prime search position with some phrases used, however on other phrases they may not come up at all. I think organisations really need to define their SEO to ensure they are getting the greatest range of exposure that is possible and affordable for their budget!

    1. Yeah, I agree with you! It is always smart for companies to define SEO to their organisations and have self-developed strategies for small businesses because they have less budget. Unlike some large organisation. They should come up with some SEO plans rather than recruit a consulatant team for SEO.
